1938 Ford Two Door Coupe



General description: This is a 1938 all "Ford" steel bodied resto-rod. This car's stunning paint job surrounds an original 1938 steel body powered with a late model Mustang GT drive train and a Martz chassis with high performance brakes. Upgrades include power steering, power brakes, electric windows and door locks, air conditioning, and a power trunk. This car was a calendar car show winner at the August 2010 Route 66 Casino car show. This car received the "Hooter's Award of Excellence for a Closed Rod" at the Supernationals Car Show in Albuqueruqe in January 2011. This car was the centerfold in the February 2011 'New Mexico Rods and Rides' magazine.

Exterior: The exquisite paint job uses Pearl White over Sea Mist Green to accent the body lines and is offset with subtle graphics.

Interior: Beautiful white and turquoise faux leather "Softside" interior using seats from a '97 Lincoln Mark VIII. Dash contains a full suite of Auto-Meter gauges with antique faces.

Drivetrain: A custom tuned 4.6l Mustang GT motor with four speed automatic transmission runs through a 9" Ford rear axle with 3:50 gears.
